Subscriptions & billing

Aera offers a monthly and an annual plan, each with a free trial. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID, and your free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

To view, change, or cancel your subscription, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data & privacy

Aera is private by design. Your conversations and personal profile are stored locally on your device — there is no proprietary cloud database holding your content. You can export or delete all of your data at any time from within the app under Settings. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Common questions

I changed phones — is my data still there?
Your data is included in standard encrypted iCloud and iPhone-to-iPhone transfers. As long as you restore from a backup, Aera's content moves with it.

Can I edit what Aera remembers about me?
Yes. Open the Insights tab to view and edit your evolving profile and narrative summary at any time.

A session failed or wouldn't send.
Aera saves your conversation locally as you go, so nothing is lost. Check your internet connection and try again. If the problem continues, email us with a description of what happened.

Aera is a personal-growth tool, not a medical or mental-health service, and it cannot provide emergency help.
